Junior scans in B/W and color at resolutions of 300 x 300 and 600 x 600 - the maximum scan width is 4.9" (12.44 cm). Files store to microSD or microSDHC memory cards in the JPEG file format. The LCD keeps you apprised of the Magic Wand Jr.'s status and the USB 2.0 connects provides an alternative transfer method to your compatible Mac or PC. After 3 minutes of inactivity the scanner turns itself off to save power.
